Le Pen calls on opposition to block levy on Agirc-Arrco reserves

Marine Le Pen calls on Thursday in a forum the various oppositions in the National Assembly to block the government in its desire to take one to three billion euros from the surpluses of the Agirc-Arrco supplementary pension plan.

The executive demands a three billion annual Agirc-Arrco by 2030, which he first presented as a contribution to the increase in small pensions provided for by his pension reform, to finally evoke a duty of solidarity between schemes with a view to a return to global balance. Otherwise, he threatens to help himself to the coffers, despite the opposition of the unions.

An imbalance for Agirc-Arrco?

This looting is not only illegitimate, but also unreasonable. Take 1 billion to 3 billion euros for the benefit of the state would permanently unbalance Agirc-Arrco without taking into account the prudential rules which must be imposed on its management, writes Marine Le Pen in an article published Thursday evening on the Figaro website.

This desire of the government would be a means of making up for its error, after the pension reform, assures the president of the RN group in the Assembly, who therefore calls on parliamentarians to overcome partisan divisions to defend the general interest and form a determined opposition to any levies. on the Agirc-Arrco reserves.

Supplementary pensions for former private sector employees will be increased by 4.9% from November 1, in line with inflation, after an agreement between the unions and employers’ organizations managing the Agirc-Arrco scheme.

Agirc-Arrco pays nearly 90 billion euros in 13 million withdrawals each year. This additional part represents between 20% and 60% of the total pension depending on the person.
