Worlds are always a success. This year again, the global competition of League of Legends has easily beaten all the rest of the tournaments of the year on the esports scene, with 141.94 million hours watched (excluding Chinese platforms) for 143 hours of broadcasts. If VALORANT is the most watched shooter in 2022, with more than a billion hours on Twitch, the VALORANT Champions 2022 is only in 9th place this year with its 60 million hours. It remains, however, the tournament with the biggest spike in the history of competitive shooters.

In the rest of the esports ranking of the year, LoL is present with the LCK Spring and Summer 2022 but also the MSI. To complete the top three, we find the MPL Indonesia S9 and S10, the competition on Mobile Legends. But these tournaments are half as popular as the Worlds in 2022.
