League of Legends: Riot Games errors, recalled by Zeri

Zeri never stops causing trouble. Too weak, then too strong, then still too weak, the champion continues to accumulate hotfixes. If it’s logical to wonder where this will lead players, a new interaction has just been brought to light, and could possibly cause balance problems in the relatively near future. Especially since the supposed problems come from an interaction that has already been a headache for developers in the past.

An already marked development

Early Zeri builds were very different from a typical ADC build, focusing heavily on the champion’s incredible mobility. To counter this, Riot Games has already made an emergency change to the way Zaun’s Spark works: by making its skills synergize with its critical hits, to bring its buid closer to that of a traditional shooter. The cooldown of her E (Ionic Charge) now reduces each time the champion lands a critical hit. The purpose of these adjustments was to evolve the sniper, to better integrate it into the ADC category, while retaining some of its essence of mobility. However, with the new changes, Zeri is able to reduce her spell’s cooldown by up to three seconds per hit. This kind of interaction has already existed, and has already proved problematic in the past, on another champion well known to fans.

Ah sh** here we go again…

Now what will happen if Zeri decides to buy the Navori Swiftblades? As a reminder, this item gives AD, critical and skill acceleration. But above all, it has a very interesting passive: reduce your basic abilities (A/Z/E) by 20% of the REMAINING cooldown (this word is important) for each of your critical hits. With Zeri this could give: Ionic Charge, into three critical hits therefore reducing recovery times by 60%, into Ionic Charge, and we start again. In short, the Zaunian Spark could once again become as complicated to catch as a certain Kassadin…

This isn’t the first time this item has caused problems, and its synergy with Tryndamere has already shaken Summoner’s Rift. To put it simply, if the Navori Quickblades exist in their present version, it is only because of the Barbarian King who had too powerful a synergy with this item, to the point that it was necessary to nerf the item which was not played by other champions. This item is one of the few exceptions in League of Legends, which was changed due to a single interaction. So far on Zeri it seems ok. But the object is becoming more and more popular on her, and it will be necessary to monitor this evolution in the months to come, unless Riot Games makes other changes, to prevent rather than cure.

Enough is enough ! Kameto wanted to pull up the straps to some fans, who were too insistent. The League of Legends and Valorant files are progressing behind the scenes and it’s not worth complaining about on the networks. The streamer dotted the I’s to calm the troops down.
