The prices of the three graphics cards GeForce RTX 40 series SUPER would be $599, $799, and $999 when released.

A few days before NVIDIA’s official announcement – which is due on Monday January 8 at 5 p.m. – we have almost all the information surrounding the three new GeForce RTX 40 series.

“Almost all”, because we were still missing pricing details, but this is now done while keeping in mind, of course, that these indications have not been confirmed by NVIDIA.

Even the RTX 4070 drops in price

Be careful then, we are not immune to a last minute change especially since the source of these final details is a certain Moore’s Law is Dead, undoubtedly not the most reliable of informants.

According to his latest video on the subject, Moore’s Law is Dead would therefore have been the first to obtain the prices of future cards. It is interesting to note that it is the aging GeForce RTX 4070 which is first mentioned. A card maintained by NVIDIA, it should see a drop of 50 dollars in its public price to 549 dollars.

In its old slot of 599 dollars, it would logically be replaced by the GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER which could offer performance more than 10% better than that of its little sister.

“Only” $999 for the 4080 SUPER?

The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER would exactly take the place of the 4070 Ti with an identical retail price of $799. Remember that the “basic” 4070 Ti will not survive the arrival of the SUPERs.

Its production – as well as that of the RTX 4080 – has even already been stopped by NVIDIA. The RTX 4080 will be replaced by the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER. Its technical characteristics seem to show the smallest performance gap with the “basic” models and we therefore expected a pricing effort from NVIDIA.

According to Moore’s Law is Dead, this effort will take place. While the RTX 4080 had a retail price of $1,199, it’s $999 for the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER. We will of course wait for confirmation of all this from NVIDIA, next Monday.
