All the leaks and rumors about EA Sports FC

We note here the leaks (from credible sources) as well as the rumors (potentially leaks but from less reputable sources) concerning EA Sports FC. Don’t forget that as long as the information, even credible, has not been confirmed by Electronic Arts, everything listed here must be taken conditionally. Especially since even elements revealed by EA could change during the development period of the game.

Credible leaks around EA Sports FC

We only mention here elements from reputable sources, generally having a good history of real leaks.

EA Sports FC release date

No offense to some, the game will not be released in July but a priori rather in September, like the previous FIFA. The July date concerns the full presentation of the game, with a real trailer and the first big announcements.

Presence of player cards in FUT mode

It’s a leak that was published by several people at the same time, all mentioning the presence of women’s league cards. Be careful, however, because nothing confirms whether these will be playable in FUT mode, in a specific mode or in a particular mode within FUT (Silver Salon style).

In addition, Icon cards for female players will also be included.

New Icons and Heroes cards for FUT mode

A priori, the database would have been expanded with new Icone and Heroes players. However, the elements on the names of the players are still a little too vague to be mentioned in the leak part.

A FUT Academy style option/objective to upgrade cards

A priori, EA would take a little from its competitor eFootball with the possibility of advancing cards. Be careful though, this could just be a mix between OTW maps and Academy objectives where a map evolves based on objectives and match results.

Changes to Pro Clubs Mode

  • Pro Clubs mode becomes “Club”
  • A Rivals style season and ranking system
  • 5-week seasons and a Playoff week

Changes to the Nintendo Switch version

  • New online modes including Co-op
  • A new career mode
