At around 4 p.m., the driver was traveling on the Görtschitztal Bundesstraße (B 92) when he left the road on the right shoulder and fell over the embankment there. “He overturned the towing vehicle and trailer over the embankment there and ended up on the on the right side of the vehicle,” says a police officer. A total of 27 emergency services from FF Wieting and Guttaring rescued the seriously injured man from the wreckage of the accident. “The strenuous part of the operation was the unloading of the truck and subsequent rescue,” says the fire department. The rescue brought the seriously injured man to the UKH Klagenfurt.
