Now that Crystal Dynamics officiates for Embrace Group, the studio seems to be working on several projects. In addition to a new tomb Raider and helping The Initiative develop Perfect Dark, the studio recently surveyed its community to find out what it wants about its licensing portfolio. In this survey, the part devoted to the series Legacy of Kain has been talked about a lot, so much so that Crystal Dynamics has recorded a record of responses.
The call has been heard
These are nearly 100,000 responses to this survey on Legacy of Kain that have been collected by the studio in a few weeks. A strong signal, which did not go unnoticed at Crystal Dynamics, which responded to this enthusiasm via its CEO, Phil Rogers (words relayed by VGC):
” We wanted to get the perspective of the community and what players are looking for if we revisit the land of Nosgoth with our iconic license, Legacy of Kain. In the past, we’ve found that surveys typically get between 1,000 and 3,000 responses, but when we asked about Legacy of Kain, we received over 100,000 responses. […] Rest assured, we hear you loud and clear, and we’ll continue to update you on upcoming possibilities for Legacy of Kain in the future..»
A statement that has something to give hope to those who are waiting to find the series, one way or another. Crystal Dynamics remains dependent on the decisions of Embracer Group, but the fact that the community is showing such interest will probably not go unnoticed, even by the big bosses.
