More than ever, the outgoing MP is a favorite for re-election. On June 19, she will be opposed to Marine Tondelier, candidate for Nupes, who won 23.43% of the vote.
In reality, this result corresponds to what was expected, given those of previous elections. Marine Le Pen could almost have been elected President of the Republic in the first round if France voted like her constituency. She indeed obtained 45.15% of the votes there on April 10th. Then 63.41% two weeks later, one of his best scores nationally, during the second round lost to Emmanuel Macron.
His constituency also includes the commune of Hénin-Beaumont, led by the mayor Rassemblement national Steeve Briois, himself reappointed as head of the city with flying colors two years ago (74.21% of the votes in the second round of elections). municipal elections). The question now is whether she will manage to beat her score in the second round of the 2017 legislative elections. Five years ago, Marine Le Pen was already comfortably elected, with 58.6% of the votes cast.
If his own re-election could therefore prove to be a formality next Sunday, the challenge for Marine Le Pen is also to manage to mobilize nationally. With the objective of electing 60 deputies of the National Rally in the Hemicycle, and this without alliance with Reconquest, the party of Éric Zemmour. And, according to the polls, which predict an RN group made up of between thirty and forty parliamentarians, this is where the real challenge for Marine Le Pen seems to lie.
