Very happy to be alongside Stanislas Rigault as a substitute in the 2th circo de Vaucluse. President of GZ, the 1st youth movement in France, Stanislas is the embodiment of this committed patriotic youth. He will represent you with dignity in the National Assembly. Good campaign to you!“Wrote the niece of the leader of the National Rally (RN) Marine Le Pen and former RN deputy for Vaucluse (in the 3rd district) between 2012 and 2017.

Stanislas Rigault approached by Jordan Bardella

Marion Maréchal had given up being a candidate herself because of her pregnancy. She is due to give birth to her second child between the two rounds of the legislative elections, on June 12 and 19. She spent this week the hand of the direction of her school of political science in Lyon, Issep, where she will however continue to take care of the professional network pole.

The task promises to be tough for Stanislas Rigault. Marine Le Pen came out on top in the second round of presidential elections in this constituency with 51.5% of the vote. In the first round, she had gathered 29%, Emmanuel Macron 23.8%, Jean-Luc Mélenchon 18.5% and Eric Zemmour 10.2%. Stanislas Rigault had been approached by the president of RN Jordan Bardella for a possible support, but which implied that the representative of Reconquest! joins the benches of a possible RN group. The discussions had not succeeded and the RN presented a candidate, Bénédicte Auzanot, to him.

Eric Zemmour chose for his part to run in the 4th constituency of Var, where the RN also presents an RN candidate. Marine Le Pen repeated on France Inter on Wednesday that she did not intend to conclude a national agreement with Éric Zemmour, in particular because of their differences on pensions.
