Legislative 2022 The environmental pole of Nupes unveils its 100 candidates, Jadot not invested

The environmental pole unveiled this Friday the list of its 100 legislative candidates within the New Popular Ecological and Social Union (Nupes). Most of its leaders have been invested, but not its former presidential candidate Yannick Jadot.

The name of the latter had circulated for a time, before the presidential election. The MEP has remained virtually silent since the start of negotiations that led to the alliance with LFI, PS and PCF for the June election.

The national secretary of EELV Julien Bayou is invested in the 5th district of Paris, his deputy Sandra Regol in the 1st of Bas-Rhin, the finalist of the primary Sandrine Rousseau in the 9th of Paris and the spokesperson Eva Sas in the 8th in the capital. Party treasurer Marine Tondelier will face Marine Le Pen in Hénin-Beaumont (11th in Pas-de-Calais).

Cédric Villani and Delphine Batho invested

The partners of EELV in the ecological pole have benefited from several investitures, such as the patron of Generation Ecology Delphine Batho (2nd from Deux-Sèvres), Hubert Julien-Laferrière (2nd from Rhône) and Cédric Villani (5th from Essonne) , all three outgoing. This is also the case of Sophie Taillé-Polian (11th from Val-de-Marne) and Benjamin Lucas (8th from Yvelines), co-coordinators of Generations, the party founded by Benoît Hamon. And the founder of the New Democrats and ex-macronist Aurélien Taché in the 10th of Val-d’Oise.

Several former candidates for municipal or regional elections have been invested, such as in Nantes Julie Laernoes (4th in Loire-Atlantique), in Centre-Val de Loire Charles Fournier (1st in Indre) or in New Aquitaine Nicolas Thierry (2nd of Gironde).

The member of the Ibiza collective, who had been abruptly removed from a press conference by Marine Le Pen between the two presidential rounds by her security service, Pauline Rapilly-Ferniot, was also invested in the 9th constituency of the Hauts-de-Seine.
