In Aubervilliers, the leader of France Insoumise unveiled the national investiture convention of the new People’s Union. A day that also allowed the Insoumis to present a united front alongside these new partners. Thus, all the new socialist, ecologist and communist allies were present. After unveiling their common logo, the MP for Marseille detailed the operation of this new alliance in the Assembly.
Mélenchon does not want to be a legislative candidate
“Everyone will have their group in the National Assembly and then there will be an intergroup. If we win, the political discussion will continue in Parliament,” he explained. But to achieve such a result, Jean-Luc Mélenchon must first succeed in winning a majority in the legislative elections. An “opportunistic” alliance
