Legislative: what are the figures of Macronie in bad shape?

Jacques Serais

If Elisabeth Borne, the Prime Minister, had a good result in Calvados, the other figures of Macronie were not as successful. Jean-Michel Blanquer, for example, was eliminated in the first round in Loiret. Other big names in Macronie have obtained their ticket for the second round. But the victory seems to be difficult to clinch.

Among the 15 ministers standing in the legislative elections, three are really threatened after this first round. Amélie de Montchalin finds herself in an unfavorable tie. The Minister for Ecological Transition is under pressure in her constituency of Essonne. She finished second with 31% of the vote, behind the candidate of the left alliance Jérôme Guedj, seven points more than her.

Unfavorable ballot for Clément Beaune

The situation is just as uncomfortable for Stanislas Guerini. The Minister of Public Service, also boss of En Marche, is six points behind the candidate of the left alliance. Unfavorable ballot also for Clément Beaune, Minister Delegate for Europe, against the candidate of Nupes Caroline Mécary.

Christophe Castaner not sure of winning

He is not a minister, but he is a figure of Macronie, boss of the group of walking deputies in the Assembly, Christophe Castaner is not sure to win. He came first in his constituency of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence but he is only slightly ahead of the candidate of the left alliance.

It is the same case for the President of the Assembly, Richard Ferrand, close to Emmanuel Macron, where the second round in his constituency of Finistère against a candidate Nupes promises to be particularly uncertain.
