LEGO Brawls: the console versions of the Smash Bros-like postponed

iOS gamers know LEGO Brawls since 2019. It is a multiplayer action and fighting game in the vein of Super Smash Bros. et consorts, rather appreciated by the mobile community, because the free-to-play still enjoys great success today. It is probably for this reason thata console port was confirmed for June 2022 at the turn of a Nintendo Directearlier this year.

We learn today that PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Switch versions will be edited by Bandai Namco Gamesand especially that the family fighting game will instead land at the end of summer 2022 on these platforms. The economic model has not been specified, but knowing that a physical edition has been formalized for North America, there is little chance that these ports will be free as on iOS, the press releases and the official site do not in any case not making a statement.

Following in LEGO tradition, LEGO Brawls gives players a wealth of customization options to mix and match official LEGO bricks to create unique minifigures with power-ups to suit each player’s playstyle. Players can battle it out with anything they can find: chopsticks, pie cannons, boomboxes, or even rocket fists. With an array of multiplayer modes, unique challenges, and victory conditions, everyone in the family can join in the competition.

LEGO Brawls players can compete to brag to friends and family or go for global glory by rising to the top of the online leaderboards. The game’s multiplayer modes allow up to eight players to play locally on Xbox and Switch, and up to four players on PlayStation. Online modes allow for eight-player matches and two- to four-player co-op. A variety of fan-favorite LEGO themes and sets are available as colorful sets, making this the ultimate team brawler for LEGO fans of all ages.

In another register, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is currently available from €51.99 on Amazon.co.uk.
