The updates follow one another in Fortnite, as well as the new features. On the side of LEGO Fortniteafter the update Nice catch last month, Epic Games has started selling construction kits at high prices, raising fears that the biggest additions will now require spending money. Well, for the moment nothing will happen given which was just introduced with patch 29.10. This update baptized Mechanical Mayhem in English and Mechanical trip in French adds, as its name indicates, motorized vehicles and various elements going hand in hand with it, which should give rise to many original creations from the community. And just to earn some good points, these cars run on biofuel, a good way to raise awareness among young people about the ecological cause. On the other hand, no new quest is there to encourage us to test everything. Very many skins were also entitled to their variation LEGO.
You will find below the details of this new feature and the fixes included with update 29.10. And, yes, it’s good Drax which appears alongside Groot on the main visual, since its skin of MCU will be added to the store in a pack Guardians of the Galaxy including Groot And Mantis.
Things are freewheeling! Vehicles are in the spotlight in update 29.10 (the Mechanical Spree update), which brings you new ways to travel across your worlds to take part in exciting adventures!
Rev up the engines and set off for a Mechanical Ride starting March 26.
WHO WILL TAKE THE WHEEL ?
You know what they say: it doesn’t matter how quickly you reach your destination, it’s the journey that counts! Mechanical Ride introduces three vehicle models that can transport you from point A to point B each in their own way. (The update also gives you more ways to build your own vehicles… We’ll talk about that in a moment!)
QUAD
You’re in a rush ? Then the quad is made for you! This is ideal for moving from one biome to another at full speed. To unlock the quad blueprint, get biofuel (NEW!) and place it in your inventory.
ALL TERRAIN
The all-terrain vehicle is perfect for transporting several people. To unlock the offroader blueprint, get Softwood and place it in your inventory (can be found in Barren Valleys).
CARRIER TRUCK
If you have heavy or bulky things to transport, opt for the transporter truck and its super dumpster! To unlock the Transporter Truck blueprint, obtain Nordic Pine and place it in your inventory (can be found in the Frozen Lands).
HOW TO BUILD VEHICLES
When you unlock a vehicle’s blueprint, you can build it from the Builds section of the Build menu.
And if you’re the type to throw away instructions before even reading them, you can always build your own vehicle using vehicle parts from the Gadgets section. However, you will need to add certain gadgets to your creations for them to be considered vehicles:
GADGETS FOR YOUR TOOLBOX
- Power Center : it’s the engine of your vehicle!
- Load your power centers with biofuel to power your vehicles. (With this, they will start like clockwork.) The more biofuel you put in your vehicle, the further distance you can travel.
A food center.
- Wheels : turn your vehicle in the right direction or give it a little push!
- If your vehicle has steering wheels, you can use a driver’s seat to steer it. The powered wheels only allow you to propel your vehicle forward.
- Seats : for safety… and comfort!
- You will need a driver’s seat (or “steering wheel”… Yes, they are finally here!) to control and steer your vehicle. Place extra seats to go on a road trip with your friends!

HOW TO POWER VEHICLES
Stop waste! LEGO Fortnite promotes the use of eco-friendly fuel to ensure the protection of your precious biomes. How ? You can recycle resources you no longer need into green energy with a brand new workstation:
THE COMPOSTER
Is your inventory full to bursting? Why throw away your old items when you can give them new life!
The composter is a new station that transforms resources into biomass, fertilizer or soil. The quality and quantity of biomass produced by the composter depends on what you put in it. Furthermore, you will need to create biomass to unlock the biofuel blueprint.
(Glass is one of the ingredients of biofuel. You will now find it in the bandit camps of your world!)
SOME ADJUSTMENTS TO MAKE? USE AN ADJUSTABLE WRENCH !
There’s more than just gadgets in your toolbox. Using the wrench you can assign switches and thrusters to channels. So you can control multiple thrusters with three different switches instead of just one. To unlock the wrench pattern, obtain a wooden rod and place it in your inventory.
ILLUMINATE THE DARKNESS
This should please fans of night trips. The illuminator is certainly not a vehicle part, but it will allow you to light your way in the dark! To unlock the Illuminator Blueprint, you need to place a Thermal Fish in your inventory and your world must have a workbench.

SWEET TREATS (…AND SPICY?)
Nothing beats a good dessert after defeating enemies! For unlock recipes for ice cream, snowberry ice cream and chili ice creamyou must add snow to your inventory and your world must have a wine press.
MAJOR IMPROVEMENTS, ADJUSTMENTS AND BUGS FIXES
GAMEPLAY
- New Smart Transfer option: Transfer all identical items into or out of your inventory.
- It is now easier to visually see if your buildings have been damaged.
- With the new vehicle build option, we were forced to adjust some durability stats. We advise you to use resources with a higher rarity level to strengthen damaged buildings.
- You can drop items one by one when you take a stack.
- Schools of fish can be found near new (already dilapidated, oddly) docks located along lakes and rivers.
- Buildings have been improved so that they remain stable when entering and exiting caves.
- We’ve made stabilization fixes to constructs that travel large distances across your worlds.
OTHER
- The Grouch emote animation will now play correctly in full in LEGO Fortnite.
