In Lego Fortnite, you will have to move around a lot to explore the biomes and bring back different resources. From then on, you will have to build vehicles, and this means that you will first need to have unlocked the wheels. We explain how to do it in this article.
First step to unblock the wheels: find soft wood
When you progress on Lego Fortnite, you will go looking for new materials in nature. When you find them, you will quickly realize that your workbench will update with the new possible crafts.
To obtain wheels that will interest us here, you will have to find flexible wood. Except that the latter requires you to first have improved your workbench. Indeed, if you want to collect this soft wood, you will have to build a blue rarity ax first.
Once that’s done, head towards the desert biome. If you haven’t found it yet, go south or north until you come across a new biome. If you’re lucky, it’s the desert. Otherwise, it’s snow and you just have to go in the opposite direction.
Once you are in this desert biome, you will now have to go looking for cacti. Once you find one, all you have to do is use the blue ax which we were telling you about to get your hands on this famous soft wood.
Now that you have your pieces of soft wood, all you have to do is get to your campsite. There you are going to need a sawmill. Indeed, it is via the latter that you will have the possibility of crafting flexible wooden rods which will be useful to you later.
Normally, at this stage of the game, you should already have one in your camp. However, if this is not yet the case, its construction is very simple and only requires basic elements, namely 8 pieces of wood and 15 of granite.
Once you have this sawmill, we advise you to make some flexible wooden rods. Because yes, to build wheels, you go not only need pieces of soft wood, but also rods. Besides, there are two sizes.
For small wheels, count 1 piece of flexible wood and a flexible wooden rod. If you want to have a Ferris wheel, simply build it using 2 pieces of soft wood and a soft wooden rod. There you go, now you know how to build them!
