LEGO goes all out for this legendary license, you will fall for it

LEGO is putting it all together ahead of the official launch of new sets based on one of the most iconic franchises ever created that has been around for decades.

LEGO gradually reveals its 2024 release schedule. Since the beginning of March, it has been possible to acquire new Star Wars, Harry Potter, Animal Crossing sets and other great things will also arrive in the coming weeks. To best promote some of its future creations, the company expert in colored bricks is carrying out a little teasing on its official networks. A legendary saga is coming soon and we will soon know everything about it.

A big tease of the LEGO Dungeons and Dragons sets

The Danish firm would like to celebrate the 50the anniversary of a cult medieval fantasy saga: Dungeons and Dragons. Yes, the creation of this legendary role-playing game already dates back to 1974. So how can we honor such a license? By producing LEGO Dungeons & Dragons sets. Logically, from the month of April, the company should put online a construction of more than 3,000 pieces for €359.99. Named “Dragon’s Keep: Journey’s End”, this set obviously includes a dungeon with a dragon that can sit on it, and various other elements such as a crypt.

Will there be anything other than this LEGO Ideas set? Maybe. On X, the company posted a short video of a Mimic chest made with bricks. “There is nothing to see here. It’s just an ordinary chest. Or maybe not? » specifies the firm which promises “fun”. But it doesn’t stop there, because on the official website, we can read the message below which suggests that there may be a whole range of LEGO Dungeons and Dragons sets. A few weeks ago, a leak already revealed the existence of minifigures sold separately. To find out what’s going on, we’ll take a look at Tuesday March 19, 2024.

All campaigns are unique. There will be no exceptions. Many adventures await you, and danger lurks. But you will experience them in the company of your group of courageous adventurers, all ready to give their best with bricks. Prepare to face fire-breathing enemies and… uh… I’m at a loss for words… traverse dangerous underground lairs filled with traps…
