While the official Overwatch 2 set was due out in a few weeks, LEGO has decided to suspend its partnership following the legal cases affecting Activision-Blizzard.
The decision will have taken a long time to come but it may have taken time to reflect, in any case LEGO seems to have taken the measure of the various problems that affect Activision-Blizzard for several months. The development company, entangled in several legal cases of harassment and discrimination has already been let go by many partners (Sony, Nintendo, Xbox, or even events that have banned the publisher of ceremony), and again loses a precious ally.
Even though the release of the Overwatch 2 game has been postponed (like almost all of the company’s upcoming games), the brand’s official catalog announced an arrival of the official set for next February. In the end, LEGO suspended its partnership in a press release.
