A dream in red: Leighton Meester proves her trend awareness with a trendy rose appliqué on her dress.
As the “Lady in Red”, Leighton Meester (37) shone in the storm of flashes with her special satin dress. The actress appeared at the “Winter Wonderland Holiday Party” from Amazon Prime Video and Freevee in a low-cut red dress with a large rose appliqué below the cleavage. This means that the 37-year-old is right on trend, as flower details on dresses etc. were the absolute eye-catcher this year.
Christmas look
The actress combined the red dress with a white satin clutch and sparkling, unobtrusive silver earrings. With this, Leighton Meester created a Christmas look that fit well into the ambience with a Christmas tree and presents. The 37-year-old’s rather inconspicuous black heels and her subtle nail polish didn’t steal the show from the dress – an all-round successful and elegant appearance.
The Texas-born actress has been married to her fellow actor Adam Brody (43) since 2014. She achieved great fame between 2007 and 2012 alongside Blake Lively (36) in the US series “Gossip Girl”. Most recently she was seen in the sitcom “How I Met Your Father”. Leighton Meester is also a singer and songwriter. She released her first single “Somebody to Love” together with singer Robin Thicke (46) in 2009.
