According to police, at least five people died in a serious accident involving a Flixbus in Leipzig.
At least five people died in the coach accident on the A9 near Leipzig.
There were also numerous injuries in the accident on Wednesday.
For unknown reasons, the vehicle left the road and fell onto its side.
The Flixbus had an accident in the morning between the Wiedemar junction and the Schkeuditzer Kreuz. Several rescue helicopters and numerous ambulances are in use. The highway is closed in both directions.
