Lena Meyer-Landrut had to go to the hospital
“Unfortunately, I had to cancel my concert in Munich yesterday at short notice,” Meyer-Landrut wrote on Sunday afternoon in an Instagram story“I wasn’t feeling well during the day and then in the evening I got cramp-like stomach and kidney pains, had to throw up shortly before the show started and was then taken to a hospital,” she explains. “Thanks to the paramedics and doctors who helped me so quickly.”
She said she was “incredibly sorry” that her fans had waited so long and had to leave disappointed. “My conscience is bothering me, but my body said no,” said the singer. The festival organizers would “contact you again in the next few days.”
Meyer-Landrut’s performance on Saturday evening was cancelled shortly before she was due to take the stage. The two opening acts Leony (27) and Tom Twers (25) had already performed. Shortly before, Lena had written “Ready for Munich” in her Instagram story.
Is Lena’s concert on Sunday?
Lena’s next performance is actually already planned for this Sunday evening – at the State Garden Show in Wangen im Allgäu. The concert is scheduled to start at 8 p.m., and there has been no cancellation so far. Meyer-Landrut said in her story: “I’m resting now and will do everything I can to be able to play the show for you tonight!”
