These artists have to cancel concerts for July
Lena Meyer-Landrut and Pearl Jam recently had to cancel concerts. Other artists will also not be able to perform on stage in July as planned.
Summer is the time for open-air concerts and even indoors, many fans look forward to performances by their favorite artists during the warmer months. Recently, however, they have had to deal with some disappointments, as numerous concerts by major artists have already been canceled for July, both abroad and in Germany.
Spontaneous cancellation at Pearl Jam
On June 30, the rock band Pearl Jam announced that they would have to cancel their concerts at Berlin’s Waldbühne on July 2 and 3. A performance the day before in London had already been cancelled due to the illness of a band member.
“Despite all efforts, the band has not yet fully recovered,” said the musicians around frontman Eddie Vedder (59) on her Instagram account There are no replacement concerts for the only German dates of the “Dark Matter” world tour, the ticket costs will be refunded.

Lena Meyer-Landrut (33) has also recently been unable to play concerts for health reasons. The 2010 ESC winner had to cancel her performances on June 29 and 30 in Bavaria shortly beforehand because she had vomited in Munich before the start of the show. The musician was then taken to hospital due to severe pain.
A concert on July 1st in Hadamar, Hesse, was cancelled at the beginning of last week – the organizer’s website cited “production-related reasons”. The tickets could be exchanged for concerts by Dieter Bohlen (70) and Silbermond or Ben Zucker (40, July 5th), among others, or returned.
Kim Petras also has health problems
Kim Petras (31) planned to perform at four festivals in Barcelona, London, Porto and Seattle this summer. But the concerts in May, June and July were all cancelled without replacement. “On medical advice, I had to make this difficult decision not to perform at festivals this summer,” the German singer and Grammy winner announced in an Instagram story at the end of April. She did not give a further reason.
Neil Young with “big, unplanned break”
Neil Young (78) is also causing concern among his fans, as the Canadian singer-songwriter icon has completely canceled his current tour with Crazy Horse due to health problems. Concerts in Chicago, Austin and Dallas had already been postponed in May.

German fans of Jason Derulo (34) had to cope with another cancellation. The “Savage Love” singer was supposed to present his hits in Saarbrücken in mid-July – but in June the date was postponed to July 2025. The tickets remain valid; according to the organizer, the postponement was due to “scheduling reasons”.
