Lennar: 15% increase in EPS in the 4th quarter

(CercleFinance.com) – Housing builder Lennar published adjusted EPS on Wednesday evening up 15% to $5.02 for its last quarter of 2021-22, for total revenues which increased by 21% for reach 10.2 billion.

Revenue from residential sales rose 21% to $9.7 billion, with a 13% increase in the number of deliveries and an 8% rise in the average selling price, but new orders fell 24% in value.

“Our sales volume and our prices have clearly been affected by the rise in interest rates, but there remains a significant national shortage of housing, in particular housing for workers,” said CEO Stuart Miller.
