Lenny Kravitz will be back in front of the camera soon. The singer has landed a role in the action comedy "Shotgun Wedding".
The main cast in the star-studded Lionsgate action comedy "Shotgun Wedding" continues to take shape: In addition to Jennifer Lopez (51, "Hustlers") and Josh Duhamel (48), rock star Lenny Kravitz (56, "Raise Vibration") is in one of the roles to be seen. This is reported by the US industry website "Deadline".
Filming for the film is scheduled to begin on February 22nd in the Dominican Republic. The story revolves around the couple Darcy (Lopez) and Tom (Duhamel). Both invite their relatives to a big wedding celebration. Shortly before they say yes, however, they get cold feet. Then the big celebration gets out of control: criminals take the visitors hostage.
Kravitz is said to play the character Sean, who is described in the report as "Grace's globetrotting ex". In addition to the singer, the actors Cheech Marin (74), D'Arcy Carden (41), Selena Tan (50), Desmin Borges (36) and Alex Mallari (32) will also play a role in the comedy directed by Jason Moore (50) hold.
