No serious relationship for nine years: US rock star Lenny Kravitz continues to live in abstinence:
Sex, drugs and rock’n’roll – this motto does not apply to the US rock star Lenny Kravitz (60). As the “Fly Away” singer said in an interview with As he now reveals to the British daily newspaper “The Guardian”, he has been waiting for true love for nine years and is living in abstinence until then.
For Lenny Kravitz a “spiritual concern”
Kravitz told The Guardian that he hasn’t been in a serious relationship for nine years. Until he finds the right woman, the rock star wants to stick to his promise and live in abstinence. For the 60-year-old, this is “a spiritual concern.”
Back in 2008, the 60-year-old spoke on the American television show “CBS Sunday Mornings” about his decision to live a life of abstinence: “It’s a vow I made three years ago,” Kravitz said at the time. His decision stemmed from his separation from his former wife Lisa Bonet (56) and his subsequent relationships. “I became a womanizer,” Kravitz said in an interview.
However, the search for a suitable partner is difficult today, even if Kravitz wants someone by his side. After years of being single, the singer has become very stuck in his habits and way of life.
Relationships with Nicole Kidman and other celebrities
In the past, Kravitz made headlines with relationships with other celebrities such as Nicole Kidman (56), Adriana Lima (42) and Kylie Minogue (56). The “Blue Electric Light” artist, however, was only married once. His six-year marriage to American actress Lisa Bonet produced a daughter, Zoë Kravitz (35), in 1988. The couple divorced in 1993.
