Lenovo presents its Pad Pro, a rather well-endowed mid-range tablet

Lenovo took advantage of the launch of several of its products for the Chinese market to unveil the Pad Pro, a mid-range tablet with an interesting technical sheet.

The tablet market has picked up some color in recent years and each brand hopes to find a place in this sector. This is the case of Lenovo, which recently distinguished itself with its very solid P12 Pro, which we tested last January. The Chinese firm seems determined to continue this momentum since it has just unveiled the Pad Pro, a slate with a well-balanced technical sheet.

We are thus entitled to an 11.2-inch OLED panel, which displays 2560 x 1536 pixels. It is supposed to reach a peak light of 600 cd/m², which is quite reasonable. The screen also offers an image refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and is HDR10+ and Dolby Vision certified.

With its 6.8 mm thickness and its 480 g on the scale, it should not take up too much space. On the other hand, it will be able to be heard thanks to four speakers located on either side of its screen, once held in landscape mode.

Like many of its competitors, it can be attached to a keyboard (only Qwerty for the moment) which also acts as a screen protector. It is also possible to use it as a second screen on certain brand laptops. It supports the use of a proprietary stylus, sold separately.

A promising SoC

The set is powered by the Dimensity 1300T coupled with 6/8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. This rather high-end SoC can support 5G, but it seems that the Pad Pro does not offer it.

Autonomy is ensured by an 8200 mAh battery compatible with 30 W fast charging. Lenovo does not show off in photos since we are entitled to a simple 13 Mpx sensor on the back and a 8MP front for selfies and video conferencing.

It is available in metallic gray and gold for 2199 yuan (approximately €320 excluding tax) in its 6/128 GB version and 2499 yuan (approximately €365 excluding tax) in 8/128 GB. is making its way to France, but it could have assets to resell if that were the case, provided that its price remains aggressive when crossing the border. We should know more next school year.
