New LEP ceiling from October 1
The ceiling of the Popular Savings Book (LEP) will increase from 7,700 to 10,000 euros from October 1. The information was confirmed by the Minister of the Economy this Thursday evening to the MoneyVox editorial staff.
A measure likely to further strengthen the appeal of this regulated savings book whose remuneration is currently 6%, twice as high as that of the Livret A. At present, more than 9 million people hold an LEP, but more than 18 million are eligible.
