Les Amateurs: François Damiens and Vincent Dedienne in a delirious comedy for Disney +

In the brand new original French Disney+ series, François Damiens and Vincent Dedienne play two ordinary men drawn, despite themselves, into a dangerous criminal plot… Meet this Amateur duo on October 19!

After the successes of Para//èles or Oussekine, Disney+ unveils its fifth original French production: Les Amateurs, an offbeat comedy in 6 episodes combining action and humor. Available from October 19 on the platform, it brings together François Damiens (Dikkenek, La Famille Bélier) and Vincent Dedienne (Terrible Jungle, Parents d’études) on screen, an unusual duo that goes together perfectly.

In the vein of traditional buddy movies, the series follows Vincent, an employee of the Meurthe-et-Moselle department who has just been dumped by his girlfriend Louise, who is also his boss. At 45, Alban still lives with his mother. After witnessing a car accident on his daily commute, Vincent picks up a misplaced phone. A harmless gesture in itself, but which marks the beginning of a very long series of twists and turns for this atypical duo entangled in a real criminal plot…

The trailer unveiled by Disney + already promises a slew of incongruous situations and memorable lines, which should delight fans of the genre!
