Les Arcs Film Festival: all about the special program for young viewers

Les Arcs Film Festival will be held from December 10 to 17, 2022 in the eponymous resort, in Savoie. And this year again, the event offers the youngest to discover a tailor-made selection. Zoom on these little nuggets, to discover from 3 years old.

Children welcome at this 14th edition

As every year since 2009, Les Arcs Film Festival has planned a rich program. Exceptional screenings, conferences by guests of honor and awards ceremonies will of course be on the programme, but that’s not all.

To discover cinema from an early age, the festival also offers school screenings adapted to each level, in partnership with the academic inspection of Savoie. Masterclass “Music and Cinema” (in partnership with SACEM and 22D Music), workshops, meetings with professionals, establishment of a young Jury of Savoy or even “skiing and cinema” stays: whether they are students in kindergarten or high school, these special moments will be an opportunity to introduce children and teenagers to cinematic pleasure.

The sessions, led by presenters, will create a moment of exchange between the young spectators and the film crews. Stages in the creation of a feature film, issues related to cinema, acting or writing… All questions will be good to ask!

A specific selection for children (and adults!)

In total, more than 6,000 children attend the event each year. The festival has put together an eclectic selection for them, which will captivate students aged 3 to 18. Overview of this beautiful program.
