Wednesday evening in England, the Blue have an appointment with Germany in the semi-finals of the Women’s Euro football.

The French team will not be able to count on a large number of supporters in the stands at Stadium MK in Milton Keynes, for the semi-final against Germany, Wednesday July 27. According to information from the “Parisian” citing a UEFA source, the sale of tickets did not have the expected success, since only 200 French supporters officially bought a ticket for the match.

Some French people have given up making the trip because of a railway strike, which will impact the Eurostar, announced for Wednesday and Thursday. Instead, they hope that Les Bleues will go to the final to consider a trip to Wembley (in London) on Sunday. Until then, they will have to be content to follow the match broadcast on TF1, at 8:50 p.m.

After breaking the curse of back-to-back quarter-final eliminations from major international competitions, on 23 July, the French emerged victorious from their match against the Netherlands, despite little support in the stands. There were perhaps few supporters present, but the few spectators made themselves heard singing a vibrant Marseillaise.

While the French team is a novice at this stage of the competition, Germany have been crowned European champions eight times. France will have to fight to face this strong competition.
