Les Bracelets Rouges on TF1: season 5 already in filming!

Good news for “Red Bracelets” fans! While the last episode of season 4 has not yet been broadcast, TF1 has already started filming season 5 of the medical series.

After three years of absence, Les Bracelets Rouges made their comeback on TF1 in a season 4 in the form of a reboot which follows a new generation of young patients from the pediatric department of the Léonard de Vinci hospital in Arcachon.

Exit therefore Thomas, Clément, Roxanne and the others, and place in Benji (Léo Lorléac’h), Emma (Kali Boisson), Gabriel (Noé Wodecki), Zoé (Esther Blanc) and Nathan (Noah Deric, who explained how he had prepared for his role), five teenagers who will have to learn to live with their illnesses and disabilities.

Good news for fans of the series!

While TF1 will broadcast the last episode of season 4 of Bracelets Rouges this Monday, September 25, the channel has already planned a season 5. According to exclusive information from Leisure TVfilming of the six new episodes began this summer and will continue until next November, between Arcachon and the Paris region.

Christophe Campos, who had already worked on seasons 2 and 3, will be responsible for directing. For the moment, no information has been revealed on the casting of this new round of episodes but there is a good chance that most of the characters will be back.

This renewal for a season 5 is surprising since the audiences for this “reboot” of Bracelets Rouges are far from what the first three seasons had experienced. If when it was launched in 2018, the series attracted more than 5 million viewers, the new episodes are struggling to convince.

This Monday, September 18, only 2.49 million viewers found themselves in front of their television screens to discover the adventures of the group of teenagers, i.e. 14.1% of the entire public and 19.2% of the FRDA-50 .

Figures which place TF1 second in the evening’s audiences, behind M6 and L’amour est dans le pré. The previous week, the return of the series had mobilized 2.87 million curious people, or 16.4% of the public and 20.5% of the FRDA-50.

Catch the last two episodes of season 4 of Bracelets Rouges on Monday September 25 from 9:10 p.m. on TF1. The episodes are already available in preview on MyTF1 Max.
