It's a concert that will remain in people's minds for a long time. The 2021 edition of Motherfuckers, broadcast on Friday March 5 on TF1, was very special for the forty artists who participated. Indeed, because of the health measures essential to fight against the spread of Covid-19, no audience was present to admire the performance French singers and actors. A situation which resulted in a big loss of money for the association, since it could not count on ticket sales as in previous years … but which also complicated things on the side of the artists. Lorie Pester, performer of The Positive attitude, has, like almost every year, participated in this new edition, despite the very special atmosphere: "The crazy energy that audiences usually give us, we must have found her elsewhere", she explains to our colleagues from Gala, adding that, without fans, the atmosphere was special.
A second Enfoirés concert this year?
Despite the lack of audience and the silence of the room which replaced the usual applause and encouragement from people, Lorie and the other artists present including Mimie Mathy, Christophe Maé, Kev Adams, Vianney or Carla Bruni, who caused a sensation with his voice, had to adapt. The goal : convey positive energy to spectators through the screen and fill this impression of emptiness left by the unoccupied room: "We were trying to motivate ourselves not to make it look like an ordinary TV show". Despite everything, impossible for her not to participate in this edition:"It was good that we did it because the Restos du Cœur will lose a lot of money because of the Covid. This concert will sell CDs and DVDs so that people can eat", she recalls. To make up for the losses at the start of the year, it might be possible to organize a second concert, later in the year … But for Lorie, that would be difficult to set up. "It's complicated with everyone's schedules. Usually we have the date a year in advance, so bringing the artists together a second time by setting a date for in a few months, it's going to be really complicated", says Nina's mother.
