The Enfoirés caused a big controversy in 2015. Remember, the song All the life, which was the anthem of the troop that year, was very badly received by the public. While it was intended to play with humor on the conflict of the generations, the text sounded like a provocation towards the youth. The composer, Jean-Jacques Goldman, had defended "the second degree", ensuring that the clip deliberately featured adults "clearing himself in bad faith". Maxime Le Forestier also came to his rescue: "In this song, the old are just as stupid as the young", he assured. Almost six years later, it was Michaël Youn who spoke on this controversy. Indeed, after the broadcast of the very special 2021 edition of the Enfoirés show on Friday March 5, 2021, which took place without an audience, the artists of the troupe were in the spotlight this weekend. RFM, Bernard Montiel thus welcomed Michaël Youn in his program One hour with. The opportunity for him to come back to this scandal : "'Are the Enfoirés reacting?'", he mocked on the air, before becoming serious again and confiding that this controversy had deeply shocked the composer of the song, Jean-Jacques Goldman.

"It traumatized Jean-Jacques (…), he didn't understand what happened. He said 'But, I just wanted to make a dialogue between young and old' ", related the comedian, father of a little girl. According to him, Jean-Jacques Goldman was not, at that time, not used to anything causing scandal: "We were at the beginning of ‘Either way, you can't say anything anymore without some people standing up. These were the beginnings of ‘There are always fifty guys who disagree, whatever you say ". Michaël Youn concluded with humor: "And the worst part is not that people disagree with you, is that whatever you think, including when you think shit, tell yourself that you have people who agree with you. This is what is actually creepy".
