Les Numériques welcomes the Roidmi Eva robot vacuum cleaner in its laboratory!

If more and more robots vacuum and wash the floor in complete autonomy, few of them are able to manage the maintenance of their attributes on their own. This is without counting on the Roidmi Eva, which comes to feed the flourishing market of 3-in-1 robots.

The robot can thus vacuum the floor, wash it, but also empty its dust collector and clean its mops after the washing session.

If the competition is thin at the moment, it still faces the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, which we have already tested. Other devices can compete with the Roidmi, such as the Dreame W10 or the Ecovacs Deebot X1 Turbo, even if they are unable to empty their dust bin.

To separate the Eva from its competitors, we are going to make it pass several tests common to all robot vacuum cleaners. The device will have to suck up 100 g of rice on different surfaces: hard floor, thin carpet and thick carpet. Filtration performance will also be evaluated through cocoa powder suction tests. Finally, and most importantly, we will observe the path of the robot and its ability to move in a domestic environment.

The Roidmi Eva is therefore installed in our laboratory, ready to start the tests. The article should be online soon!
