Lesline Ravel missing since 2018, the mystery continues around the other Jubillar case

Lesline Ravel is a 39-year-old mother. December 30, 2018, she leaves her pavilion in Lascaux following a violent dispute with her husband because of the choice of the TV program. Since then, the mother of two children has never given any news. It is now 3 and a half years since Lesline Ravel disappeared into the wild. On December 31, 2018, her husband, Hervé Ravel, reports her disappearance. Lesline’s car was then found two days later, wrecked, with the driver’s side door embedded in a pile of wood. Which does not bode well, especially since the body of the quarantined is not found.

The gendarmes decide to carry out research in the area and the tracking dogs will be of great help. Lesline Ravel’s personal belongings are found: pants, panties, a shoe and a lipstick on the surface of a pond. The gendarmerie decides to empty the ponds and the dogs go up the track of Lesline to a railway line. But there, disappointment and incomprehension: no body is found. The husband is, not surprisingly, one of the main suspects in this case. And for good reason: their arguments were more and more violent and quite frequent. Divorce also often comes up on the carpet. Lesline Ravel: no body and lies

In the Lesline Ravel affair, the investigators will focus on husband. The latter will be heard on numerous occasions and the analyzes of his telephone calls prove that he tried to reach his wife after his departure, as in the Jubillar affair! In addition, the man is impossible to locate for several hours, again as was the case for Cédric Jubillar. But one day, Hervé Ravel is arrested drunk at the wheel of his car, placed in a drunk tank, he calls his lawyer and confess! He says he followed his wife in the car, she had an accident, he then decided to get her out of the vehicle, they argued and then one of his blows caused her death. He then allegedly hid the body in a wood. Hervé Ravel will reiterate this same version before the judge who indicted for “murder”. But he ends up retracting! Moreover, many elements do not coincide with the confessions. Almost a year after his indictment, the husband of Lesline Ravel has regained his freedom. “This release is one of the amazing things justice is capable of doing” explains, annoyed, Me Michel Labrousse, the victim’s lawyer. “But it’s a purely administrative decision that has no bearing on the merits of the case. He will have to bear the consequences of his confession” he added. But without a crime scene, or body, it remains difficult for justice to do its job. Case to follow.
