lessons from the in-between rounds before Wednesday’s debate

Bruno Jeudy, editor-in-chief at Paris Match, draws the three weekly lessons from our Ifo-Fiducial real-time presidential poll for Paris Match, LCI and Sud Radio.

From January 10 until the eve of the second round (April 22), find every evening from 5 p.m. on the Paris Match website the results of the Rolling Ifop-Fiducial: the voting intentions of the French for the first and second round of the 2022 presidential election, as well as the estimated turnout. The principle of rolling consists in revealing the electoral balance of power in real time on the principle of a rolling accumulation of daily survey waves: the day’s survey wave is combined with the waves of the two previous days within the framework of a sample aggregating a total of nearly 1,500 people. In total, more than 50,000 people will be interviewed during the 15 weeks of the presidential campaign covered by the system.
