Lets Dance: "A few weeks ago you were like a potato"

In the seventh episode of this year's edition of "Let's Dance", eight celebrities competed with their professional dance partners in individual and team dances. The quality of the performances continued to increase, in the end Loiza Lammers (25) had to sail. This is how the stars fought when "turning into the target curve", as juror Joachim Llambi (55) put it.

Light and shadow

"The Show must go on !, Under the sound of the classic Queen, the jury and the last eight dance couples entered the studio on Friday evening to match the corona situation. The moderator couple Victoria Swarovski (26) and Daniel Hartwich (41) pointed out that plexiglass walls were now installed between the jury members before it started without further ado: Tijan Njie (28) and partner Kathrin Menzinger (31) were under considerable pressure after 30 points from the previous week at Slowfox, but the actor and the show dance world champion did not do it justice Llambi said: "Topic missed!" The jury awarded the two with only 18 points.

Laura Müller (19) and Christian Polanc (41) then danced a rumba, for which the jury also had little good criticism. Jorge Gonzalez (52) found it too monotonous that Müller was "just nice, all the time", and Motsi Mabuse (39) would also have liked "more eroticism". The fact that the two scored a total of 22 points was surprising given the criticism presented. Loiza Lammers and Andrzej Cibis (32) did a little better at the Paso Doble: the jury was full of praise, but the two received just one more point. Mabuse gave Lamers another tip after the 23-point performance: "Work on your extension so that the whole thing breathes more."

Good mood thanks to strong performances

In terms of charisma, Luca Hänni (25) and Christina Luft (30) did everything right at their rumba. Mabuse: "I have nothing to say. Mega!" Even Llambi said: "You sold the number sensationally." The two were right about the 28 points. Ilka Bessin (48) was then under pressure with Erich Klann (32) during the tango. Gonzalez liked it "very well", but there were no more than 16 points. Lili Paul-Roncalli (21) delivered the usual strong performance with Massimo Sinató (39), the two favorites for the overall victory were again showered with praise for their samba and scored the full 30 points. Llambi: "I couldn't think of anything else you could do."

Martin Klempnow (46) and his partner Marta Arndt (30) again had "a lot of joy". With their Slow Fox, his progress, measured as a result of one, was just as visible as his weight loss. The jury and everyone in the audience were thrilled. Mabuse overturned: "If someone asks me 'What is Let's Dance? Martin is' Let's Dance'!" Gonzalez lined up: "A few weeks ago you were like a potato and now you are so good." 22 points is their best result for the two. Moritz Hans (23) and Renata Lusin (32) then delivered a perfect contemporary, for which they received 30 points. Llambi gave his jury members "goose bumps and stick fever".

Mabuse defends her title

After a guest appearance by Ramon Roselly (26), the jury team dances followed. Team Llambi (Lili Paul-Roncalli, Laura Müller, Martin Klempnow) put a mix of Paso Doble, Samba and Rumba on the parquet; Team Jorge (Tijan Njie, Loiza Lammers, Ilka Bessin) was limited to salsa; Team Motsi (Moritz Hans, Luca Hänni) delivered a mixture of waltz, tango and charleston that ended in a silver shower of confetti. All jurors had a lot of praise for each other's choreographies, and in the end, as in the previous year, Team Motsi was ahead with 17 points. After the points of the individual and group dances had been offset against the calls from the audience, it was clear: Loiza Lammers may not be present at the Discofox marathon next week.
