There were still five stars: A celebrity also had to dance on the ninth live show of “Let’s Dance”. This time it hit Lola Weippert.

One return, three dance duels and six “Magic Moments”: the latest edition of “Let’s Dance” on RTL and TV Now had a lot to offer on May 7th. For presenter Lola Weippert (25), however, the evening shouldn’t end magically.

Twins provide a highlight

Weippert showed the first dance of the evening. The jury, as always consisting of Joachim Llambi (56), Motsi Mabuse (40) and Jorge González (53), rated them with a total of only 19 points – in comparison the lowest number of points in the individual dances, which this time under the motto “Magic Moments “stood. For González, freestyle seemed too “learned” and “mechanical”.

Auma Obama (61), the half-sister of Barack Obama (59), on the other hand, was able to secure 21 points. Llambi had bothered a few little things, but on the whole he was also satisfied. “I’m happy” was Mabuse’s verdict on the freestyle of Rúrik Gíslason (33), who even managed to clear 27 points. The jury particularly praised the samba part of the former soccer player’s dance. And professional boxer Simon Zachenhuber (22) delivered, according to Llambi, a “decent performance” on Friday evening, which helped him to 22 points.

Much more spectacular, however, was the performance of Valentina Pahde (26) who, as a surprise, brought her twin sister Cheyenne onto the dance floor – and provided the highlight of the evening. González praised him that he would buy a ticket for her show immediately. “My heart leaps with joy” when she sees Pahde, enthused Mabuse and Llambi did not know “what could have been done better now”. The actress received the highest score of 30 points.

Returnees conjure up “a delicious menu”

Nicolas Puschmann (30), who had surprisingly left the previous week but returned due to an injury to his fellow candidate Ilse DeLange (43), did not have to hide either. According to Llambi, he presented “a delicious menu” with his freestyle and thus secured 29 points before three dance duels. On the subject of Bollywood, Weippert and Pahde competed against each other – and the decision should be much tighter than the previous dances suggested. Pahde was only just able to prevail against Weippert with 27 to 26 points.

In the next duel, Puschmann competed against Obama in street dance – and here too there was a surprising result. “You killed it,” said González enthusiastically about Obama’s performance (29 points) and the other jury members could hardly believe what they were seeing. The “Prince Charming” also showed his skills (25 points), but had no chance in the duel. Most recently, the two athletes faced the flamenco match, which should not be a resounding success for Zachenhuber (25 points), as Gíslason sidelined him with his 26 points.

As unexpected as the previous evening was, there was a foreseeable result in the end. It was almost certain that Pahde would eventually get ahead. Above all, however, Puschmann should have trembled after he was eliminated as a co-favorite in the previous episode. Weippert, who was in last place in terms of points, had to leave.
