The 15th season of the dance show “Let’s Dance” ended on Friday evening. The ratings and reactions from the fans speak for themselves.

On Friday night (May 20), the 15th season of the RTL dance show “Let’s Dance” celebrated its finale and chose the new “Dancing Star”. The triumph of circus artist René Casselly (25) after almost four hours of broadcast was attended by almost four million viewers. In the target audience between 14 and 49 years of age, almost a quarter (24.1 percent) of all viewers, at 1.22 million, were on the RTL show. These numbers were determined by AGF Videoforschung in cooperation with GfK.

It was also the highest rating of the season. The 15th edition of “Let’s Dance” repeatedly had to deal with massive problems due to the corona pandemic. Stars and/or professionals dropped out almost every week because of a positive corona finding. Particularly bitter: regular moderator Daniel Hartwich (43) had to pass again for the season finale “due to illness”, he was once again replaced by Jan Köppen (39).

audience is satisfied

On the net there are consistently positive voices about the final, which in the eyes of numerous Twitter users also found the winning couple they deserved. Some people are therefore already looking forward to the next season of the format.

Casselly’s dance partner was Kathrin Menzinger (33), only in episode four was she replaced by Regina Luca (33). Second place went to Janin Ullmann (40) and professional debutant Zsolt Sándor Cseke (34), third place went to former Paralympic athletes Mathias Mester (35) and Renata Lusin (34).
