Despite the new Corona cases, “Let’s Dance” went off without a hitch. For Caroline Bosbach, however, it worked out…

Another corona ups and downs did the fifth live show of “Let’s Dance” on RTL (also on RTL+) no termination. Jan Köppen (39) stepped in for Daniel Hartwich (43), who tested positive, on Friday evening. “It feels nice to be standing here,” enthused the presenter right from the start. After an emotionally charged show, however, he also had to say goodbye: For Caroline Bosbach (32), the journey to “Let’s Dance” is over…

The start of the fifth show, whose motto was “Made in Germany”, was made by “GZSZ” star Timur Ülker (32) and his dance partner Malika Dzumaev (31) with a cha-cha-cha to Nico Santos’ “In Your Arms”. . Despite a few missteps, the jury’s verdict was mostly positive. “I feel this optimism that Timur is getting better and better,” enthused Jorge González (54). The rating for the two: a solid 20 points.

With Amira Pocher, the audience is standing

With the aim of “letting the knot burst”, Caroline Bosbach and Valentin Lusin (35) next put a stylish Slowfox in a purple robe on the floor – “a difficult dance”, according to juror Joachim Llambi (57): “Looked good above , but there’s a lot more work to be done downstairs.” The end of the song: 14 points – and at least the offer for private high-heel training from Jorge González. On the other hand, things looked better for actress Sarah Mangione (31) and Vadim Garbuzov (34), who cleared the maximum score of 30 points for their Contemporary last week. It rained 21 points for her “cheeky, exciting and authentic” jive, as Motsi Mabuse (40) called it.

“Barefoot and showing feelings”: Only a contemporary can follow that description. He approached Amira Pocher (29) and Massimo Sinató (41) in show five and caused a standing ovation in the audience – and “goosebumps” for Motsi Mabuse. The jury valued the appearance of the two 25 points – nine of them came from the otherwise strict Joachim Llambi. The rumba on the classic “Ohne Dich” by Michelle (50) and Christian Polanc (43), on the other hand, only earned 16 points. Joachim Llambi’s criticism: The pop singer has to work on her body stability and posture.

“The last place has never been so nice!”

Mathias Mester (35) and Patricija Ionel (27) swept across the dance floor with a Charleston to the hit “My little green cactus”. The latter had to stand in for Renata Lusin (34), who was infected with Corona. Mester and Ionel always entertained the audience – but also for the jury? With 25 points and a “Bomba, Bomba, Bomba” by Jorge González, they were among the best couples of the evening!

A title that Bastian Bielendorfer (37) and Ekaterina Leonova (34) can only dream of. After all: Your Slowfox finally brought in the desired double-digit score of 13 on Friday evening. “The last place has never been so nice,” enthused Bielendorfer. Mike Singer (22) and Christina Luft (32) started their Quickstep with a personal singing performance to Matthias Reims “Damn, I love you”. Her dance ended with a standing ovation from the audience – and partly also from the jury. “That was your best dance,” said Jorge González. There were 23 points for her performance.

Motsi Mabuse moved to tears

The last and best dance of the evening – a slow waltz – was performed by Janin Ullmann (40) and Zsolt Sándor Cseke (34). The moderator dedicated her 28-point performance to her older sister. With the message, she also briefly moved juror Motsi Mabuse to tears.

The big decision in which three couples had to tremble was emotional: Michelle and Christian, Caroline and Valentin as well as Bastian and Ekaterina. In the end it wasn’t enough for Caroline and Valentin, who also had to tremble in the previous show.
