Christina Luft: After intensive weeks, she can finally go home

The stars and dancers of this year’s “Let’s Dance” season are on their well-deserved Easter break. Especially Christina Luft, 33, noticed how much she needed a break. On Instagram, the dancer explains in a post how close she is to tears and writes: “I love my job very much, but I rarely jumped on the train with tears in my eyes” and added: “I haven’t been for 2 months now more at home, haven’t slept in my own bed anymore[…]”. In this very intensive training period, private moments seem to be neglected and the joy seems particularly great to finally be able to go home again.

“I’m happy to spend time with my sweetheart, to see our house being built, to cook for myself, to spend time in nature and to sleep properly again,” she communicates on Instagram. When she was finally able to hug her great love Luca Hänni, 28, again, Christina “cried a little first,” she reveals in her Instagram story. She needs this break above all to recharge her batteries and to do justice to her dance partner Ali Haydar Güngörmüş, 46. In addition, the 33-year-old notes in her contribution: “After so many weeks, my nerves are on edge and every step just makes a salad in my head!” The next rehearsal will soon be on the agenda again – and the team only has a day and a half for that, according to the dancer.

Amira Pocher is in favor of Christian Polanc

Rumors have been circulating online for weeks that the chemistry between Sharon Battiste, 31, and Christian Polanc, 44, is not right. Supposedly it would be anything but harmonious in the training sessions between the bachelorette and the professional dancer. All nonsense, the 44-year-old clarified and asked to refrain from speculation. After the announced partner swap, in which Sharon was paired with professional Valentin Lusin, 36, who encouraged her to perform at her best and secured her 30 points and standing ovations, it was rumored again that RTL had done Sharon and Christian a favor.

Now an impartial speaks out. Amira Pocher, 30, who danced for the trophy alongside Massimo Sinató, 42, in the 15th season of “Let’s Dance”, spoke out in her podcast “Die Pochers” for Christian Polanc and rather sees Sharon as the troublemaker .

Oliver Pocher, 45, takes a close look at the headlines of the past week and wants to know unashamedly about his loved one: “Has Christian Polanc stunk now?” Amira says no. “I can only tell you, I danced with him for a week and he didn’t stink,” she clarifies. The mother of two believes Sharon needed an excuse to find a new dance partner. She explains: “I know that Christian is very strict.” Amira can understand that every dance partner is a challenge, after all you are thrown together without knowing each other. The moderator would therefore like to say openly that you just don’t understand each other than to always say: “We love each other.”

“Let’s Dance” is not a request concert. On Friday, April 14, 2023, Sharon and Christian will once again be on stage as a dancing couple and can prove to everyone that they work as a team.

Samba or Rumba? Joachim Llambi confuses the dances

In the sixth live show of “Let’s Dance” there was a lot of mixing. Instead of with their actual dance partners, the stars stormed the floor with new professionals. Sharon Battiste, 31, danced with Valentin Lusin, 36, and Anna Ermakova, 23, with Christian Polanc, 44. This initially caused confusion not only among the dancing couples, but also apparently among jury member Joachim Llambi, 58.

Sharon and Valentin convinced the entire jury with their rumba – they were guaranteed first place that evening. Anna and Christian had to settle for second place, which they took with the performance of “Tic Tic Tac”. In the intro before the dance, the 23-year-old said: “Partner switch, that was completely crazy.” It wasn’t just her. While Jorge Gonzales, 55, and Motsi Mabuse, 41, were very enthusiastic, Joachim Llambi said about the performance: “Very natural rumba, with a lot of action”, which Daniel Hartwich, 44, corrected with the words “It was a samba”. The juror wanted to appease this obvious mistake: “I was still so fascinated, Sharon’s rumba was sensational.” Despite his mistake, the model’s appearance was wonderful and well implemented, according to the 58-year-old.
