“Let’s Dance” Easter break?

The “Let’s Dance” celebrities and their professionals have a few days off over Easter. Not so Valentin Lusin and Ann-Kathrin Bendixen.
Due to the ban on dancing, there is actually no live edition of the RTL dance show “Let’s Dance” on Good Friday, which traditionally gives dance celebrities and their professionals a few days off. We trained twice this week, then everyone went on Easter break. Almost all. Because like dance professional Valentin Lusin (37) on his Instagram account showed, there is an exception for him and his celebrity, the influencer Ann-Kathrin Bendixen (24).
In his stories he shared a few clips that show the two of them taking a short break from training. “Due to the small situation that has befallen us, we have postponed our Easter training days a bit. That means today is week five for us, the first day of training,” he explained on Wednesday evening.
Sweet baby news led to postponements
By the “small situation” he means the birth of his and his wife Renata Lusin’s (36) first child. Little Stella was born last week.
In addition to the great joy in the entire “Let’s Dance” family, the baby news also had an impact on the dancing couple Lusin-Bendixen. The latter had to make do with replacement partner Mika Tatarkin (27) in the live show – but the two performed wonderfully and got through to the next round.
Now Valentin Lusin is wearing his hat again. In his latest videos, he and Bendixen appear to be in a good mood and are in good spirits about their sporting work. He wants to know from his protégé what she says about the new dance. Apparently completely surprising to him, she replied beamingly, “I love it.”
And if you’re now wondering whether Renata Lusin can cope on her own, you’ll be proven wrong on her Instagram account, because her mother takes touching care of the new mother and the grandchild. “Grandma is so happy… and mom too. Can have breakfast…”, commented Renata on a clip in which her mother rocks the baby in a carrier.
Next “Let’s Dance” show on April 5th
On Good Friday (March 29th), RTL will show a best of “Let’s Dance – The Magic Moments of the Professionals” on the “Let’s Dance” slot from 8:15 p.m. The next regular dance show, in which Valentin Lusin and Ann-Kathrin Bendixen have to prove themselves again, will be live on April 5th at 8:15 p.m. on RTL or on the in-house Streaming service RTL+ on the program.
