Ekaterina Leonova and Detlef Soost not only danced their way into the fifth show of “Let’s Dance”, but also into the hearts of many viewers. But how do the two of them relate to each other behind the camera? The professional dancer is now providing information about this.
Ekaterina Leonova, 36, and Detlef Soost, 53, have been dancing together on the new season of “Let’s Dance” for around five weeks. The hip-hop dancer is used to tough training sessions, but according to his own statement, he has found his “master” in the resolute professional dancer. Ekat now reveals how she feels about her dance partner in a question and answer session on Instagram.

When a follower asked how much she and Detlef had grown together, the otherwise strict dancer made unusually loving tones. “Really very much,” she writes alongside red heart emojis. And further: “I simply got to know Detlef as a person again. I see a very sensitive, loving, warm and vulnerable man behind the hard shell ‘Detlef D! Soost’.” Ekat seems to recognize parallels with herself. “Yes, the strong people are actually the ones who are the ‘weakest’. And so are we both.”

Ekat and Detlef on vacation together in Türkiye
It is obvious that the two get along well away from the cameras, after all, the Russian-born woman is currently with her dance partner in Turkey. The choreographer has to work there and does a “mix of family vacation and work,” Ekat recently explained to her fans. While the former “Popstars” coach has commitments in the morning, the two of them devote themselves to preparing for the upcoming show from midday to evening.
Fortunately, Ekat and Detlef have a little more time than usual until then. After a short Easter break and the special “Let’s Dance – The Magic Moments of the Professionals” on Good Friday, Show 5 will not take place again until April 5th. Then the two can show whether the dance training in Turkey was worth it.
