The baby countdown seems to have begun for Valentin and Renata Lusin: The “Let’s Dance” professional will not be able to float across the dance floor with Ann-Kathrin Bendixen in the upcoming show. On Instagram, Bendixen sends “the best” to the soon-to-be three-member family.
Is it starting now? The otherwise active and heavily pregnant woman has been on Instagram for 22 hours Renata Lusin, 36, no longer posted anything. Now it is announced on the “Let’s Dance” Instagram account that her husband, professional dancer Valentin Lusin, 37, will be canceled in show four on Friday, March 22, 2024.

“We have an update for you: Valentin will not be able to be part of Show 4 as he is staying with his wife Renata,” says an Instagram post from the popular dance show.
The production also announces what’s next for Valentin’s dance partner: “But good news: Ann-Kathrin Bendixen is of course not dancing alone, but with Mika Tatarkin, who is returning as a replacement! Mika was already there during the two’s training and is well prepared. We’re happy that you’re back on the dance floor, dear Mika, and we wish Renata & Valentin all the best!”

Ann-Kathrin Bendixen sends the Lusins a touching video message: “We wish the three of them the best”
Bendixen will still be there in the next show and dance with Mika Tatarkin. In the comments on the Instagram post, “Let’s Dance” juror Motsi Mabuse, 42, keeps his fingers crossed for the expectant parents. She writes: “@valentinlusin @renata_lusin good luck guys!!!! I wish you all the best and a healthy baby. Fingers are crossed”.
Ann-Kathrin also speaks up: “I’ve never been so happy for two people. Just all the best to the little one, my dance should be completely irrelevant this week. I’m soooo happy for the Lusins and looking forward to updates .”
A few hours later, Ann-Kathrin Bendixen and her new dance partner Mika Tatarkin published a video on the “Let’s Dance” Instagram account and said: “Valentin is with Renata right now and we just wish them the best from the bottom of our hearts, or the three of them . We’re really excited for them.” Mika adds: “We’re excited.” Lusin’s dance partner then replies: “We’ll dance for the three of them on Friday.”
