On Thursday, May 2, 2024, Tony Bauer, 28, announced that he was leaving “Let’s Dance”. Now comes the next shock news for fans of the popular RTL dance show: Mark Keller, 59, also has to throw in the towel for health reasons.

Mark Keller has to leave “Let’s Dance” for health reasons

“Unfortunately, we have sad news for you: Mark has to end his ‘Let’s Dance’ journey for health reasons. An injury to his Achilles tendon forces Mark to stop because there is a risk of a complete tear. Our team of doctors has therefore taken absolute care of him “We think it’s a great shame that his journey on ‘Let’s Dance’ is coming to an end like this, but here too, health comes first,” says a photo of Mark on the show’s official Instagram account Keller and his dance partner Kathrin Menzinger, 35.

And further: “We wish you, Mark, a speedy recovery and also send Kathrin a lot of love. Of course, that also means: Lulu and Massimo are returning after their elimination and dancing again in Show 10. The two have already started training. Welcome back , you two!” Lulu Lewe, 32, will return to Show 10 in Mark’s place.

Mark Keller addresses fans

Shortly afterwards, Mark Keller and Kathrin Menzinger address their fans in a personal video. “I have to be eliminated, unfortunately I injured my Achilles tendon. You probably saw that on the show recently, when Mr. Llambi after the magic moment, which I was fortunately still able to dance […]said whether I have it in my hip.” Mark Keller had previously had problems with his Achilles tendon and “it turned out yesterday that it was slightly torn,” says the actor.
