“Let’s Dance” – data & facts

Brigitte Nielsen was on a smooch with Daniel Hartwich and Joachim Llambi

In 2010, none other than Brigitte Nielsen, 60, took part in the third season of “Let’s Dance”. The actress twirled across the dance floor together with professional dancer Oliver Tienken and ended up taking sixth place. But before she had to leave the show, the Dane created some unforgettable TV moments. In the broadcast on April 16, the “Rocky” actress, who hasn’t necessarily received much praise for her dancing talent, rushed to the jury’s desk and gave Joachim Llambi, 59, a deep kiss on the mouth – the audience went wild.

Two weeks later, the ex-wife of Sylvester Stallone, 77, pursed her lips again. This time, however, new presenter Daniel Hartwich, 45, who replaced Hape Kerkeling, 59, allowed himself to have some fun. After the jury’s evaluation, he said, “Yes, come here,” grabbed Nielsen’s head and gave her a smack. A few hours later, the now 60-year-old and her dance partner were eliminated: They couldn’t convince with their Paso Doble – Hartwich’s kissing attack didn’t help either.

First “Let’s Dance” winner in 2006: Yvonne Catterfeld stood by her friend Wayne Carpendale

When “Let’s Dance” first flickered across German television screens on April 3, 2006 at 9:15 p.m., the show immediately set the previous viewership record. A total of 7.12 million people tuned in to see celebrities twirl around the dance floor with professionals. It quickly became clear: Wayne Carpendale, 46, is considered the favorite.

The then 29-year-old actor and son of pop star Howard Carpendale, 78, was not only cheered on by his famous father from the audience. His former girlfriend Yvonne Catterfeld, 44, also appeared in the studio several times – including on the final day on May 21, 2006. Wayne and his dance partner Isabel Edvardsson, 41, were able to prevail against actress Wolke Hegenbarth, 43, and Oliver Seefeldt, 54 .

Wayne Carpendale was in a relationship with Yvonne Catterfeld from 2004 to 2007, and in the same year he made his love for presenter Annemarie Carpendale, 46, public. They married in 2013 and the two have a son together: Mads. Catterfeld also has a son, Charlie, who comes from his partnership with fellow actor Oliver Wnuk, 48, which broke up in 2021 after 14 years.
