On Friday evening nine celebrities danced in the sixth “Let’s Dance” edition. Who can dance on in show seven?

Nine dance couples met in the sixth “Let’s Dance” show on Friday evening (April 16, RTL and via TVNow) dared to hit the floor. Fast dances like the Jive or the Charleston sometimes pushed the celebrities to their limits. Fan favorite Rúrik Gíslason (33) also had to be content with “only” 22 points. Who had to say goodbye to the floor at the end?

Ilse DeLange (43) and Evgeny Vinokurov (30) danced a quickstep to “Suddenly I See”. With an initial vocal performance and a lot of energy in the dance, the musician and her dance partner won 23 points. The second appearance was Auma Obama (60), who brought a Charleston to “Bang Bang” with Andrzej Cibis (33) and thus achieved a successful 22 points. Simon Zachenhuber (22) and Patricija Belousova (25) devoted themselves to the standard this time and danced a slow fox to “Power Over Me”. The jury rewarded the intensive work on the technology with Motsi Mabuse (4ß), Joachim Llambi (56) and Jorge González (53) and awarded the score 19.

After her 30-point slow fox, the fast jive was waiting for Valentina Pahde (26) this week. The jury described their performance with Valentin Lusin (34) on the song “One Fine Day” as lively, compact and with a lot of tact. There were 27 points for this. Lola Weippert (25) and Christian Polanc (42) showed a Cha Cha Cha for “My Head & My Heart”. The week before, the jury wanted an insight into Weippert’s emotional world, Joachim Llambi actually had the feeling that this time he was seeing the “real Lola”. The moderator was able to score 22 points for this.

Jan Hofer’s jive “very lean”

Mickie Krause (50) and Malika Dzumaev (29), who absolutely wanted to make it into show eight and thus the Discofox marathon, presented a Charleston to “Schmidtchen Schleicher” this time. The jury gave the entertaining dance including stumbling blocks a cameraman 16 points. With the fast jive, Jan Hofer (69) reached his limits in training. During the performance with partner Christina Luft (31), The Baseballs accompanied the couple live with the song “Forever Young”. According to this, Llambi and Hofer judged what was shown in dance as “very lean”. The ex- “Tagesschau” spokesman, who has already lost eight kilos in his “Let’s Dance” time, therefore only got eight points.

Another live act of the evening was “DSDS” winner Jan-Marten Block (25), who performed his winning song “Never Not Try” without the support of the dancers. Rúrik Gíslason and Renata Lusin (33) showed a soulful rumba for “Wicked Game”. For the jury, however, the performance was “very tough” and “too strong”. The athlete has to use his power in a more targeted manner. The couple got the worst rating to date with 22 points. Nicolas Puschmann (30) and Vadim Garbuzov (33) danced a slow waltz to “At This Moment” at the end and caused enthusiasm among the jury as the best dance of the evening – they pulled out the “10” three times.

Mickie Krause and Malika Dzumaev then had to say goodbye to the floor. The next week is “Love Week”, in which the remaining eight couples will dance to love songs.
