At the seventh show of “Let’s Dance” two dancing couples were thrown out.

In the seventh show of “Let’s Dance” on Friday, Sophia Thiel and Biyon Kattilathu had to say goodbye to the dance show.
Big reunion and two farewells on “Let’s Dance” (RTL and RTL+): After the nine celebrities had to swap their dance partners last week, they were allowed to perform again with their usual professionals in the seventh edition of the dance show on April 19th.
It was still time to say goodbye for two couples: Sophia Thiel (29) and Alexandru Ionel (29) as well as Biyon Kattilathu (39) and Marta Arndt (34) had to leave the show. According to jury points, which also included last week’s points, Detlef D! Soost, Mark Keller and Lulu the top 3.
Team “Glückgehabt” is running out of luck
Kattilathu and Arndt had previously presented a slow waltz to “Can’t Stop The Feeling”. Joachim Llambi’s (59) criticism was so comprehensive that the audience booed him. Whereupon Llambi extended his criticism to the audience: “If you boo now, then you have as much knowledge as Mr. Hartwich.” Motsi Mabuse (43) praised the lifting figures, Jorge González (56) also found it “not so catastrophic”. Team “Glückgehabt”, as Arndt called themselves, received 18 points for their performance – and then their luck ran out.
Jana Wosnitza (30) was allowed to compete in a rumba. “In fact, no dance has ever been so difficult for me,” she said during training. In a dress that was more like a boldly draped shawl, the presenter brought sensuality to the dance floor to a slow version of “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.” González: “You have enchanted me and that is difficult! What a sexy Jana today!” Overall score: 23.
Sophia Thiel danced her jive in an 80s leopard print aerobics outfit. The quick dance in high heels to “Physical” pushed the fitness influencer to her limits. The mistakes didn’t go unnoticed by the jury either. Llambi threatened: “These are things that have to be right now, that’s why two are going now.” How right he was. There were 16 points for the performance.
Ann-Kathrin and Valentin Lusin fall
Ann-Kathrin Bendixen (24) danced her feelings in a contemporary. The accompanying song – “Am I Enough” – made it easy for her: “I ask myself all the time: Am I enough?” The dance started strong, but the influencer and professional dancer Valentin Lusin (37) fell over during a lifting figure, which even tore Bendixen’s top. Lusin then embarrassed: “It was all choreographed, of course.” Llambi still said: “It was your best dance.” Rating: 19 points.
Gabriel Kelly (22) was happy about his samba dance: “Party, atmosphere, good mood!” On the dance floor with his shirt open, Kelly was in no way inferior to his professional dancer in terms of presence and energy. Angelo Kelly (42), a very proud dad, was also in the audience. “The father went off like a suppository in the front row!” reported Llambi. And: “You went off like a fire brigade!” The jury awarded 21 points for the powerful performance.
Detlef D! Soost: Snake move and pure sex
Detlef D! Soost (53) and Ekaterina Leonova (36) danced a very slow rumba to “Ain’t No Sunshine”, with Soost presenting a hip swing that inspired the jury to make all sorts of sexual innuendos. Mabuse laughed at Soost’s “snake move”: “I’ve seen a lot of rumbas in my life, but never like this.” González said that Soost even overshadowed Leonova. Llambi awarded full points and said: “That was pure sex, that’s what rumba has to be like!” Overall rating: 26 points.
This was followed by a jive from singer Lulu (32) and Massimo Sinató (43). To “Hit The Road Jack” the two played a kind of Bonnie and Clyde couple who danced their way to prison in a good mood and made them forget last week’s bad reviews. González: “Energy bomb!”, Llambi: “Full of rhythm, so much better than last week!” They received 27 points from the jury.
Llambi doesn’t have enough points
Mark Keller (58) and Kathrin Menzinger (35) danced a deliberately silly Charleston as Mary Poppins and chimney sweep, in which every step was perfect. Even the jury joined in the standing ovation. Llambi: “That was your thing!” González: “Your best dance yet!” Mabuse: “That’s how it has to be!” Llambi even wanted to award eleven points, but Keller still had to settle for the maximum number of 30 points.
Tony Bauer (28) finished with a contemporary for “7 Years”. The comedian did little wrong, but also revealed too little about himself. “I want you to give yourself even more,” said Llambi, referring to the emotional dance. Bauer explained: “I cried so much, I’d rather laugh.” There were 19 points for the steadfast good mood.
The couples were then able to win ten extra points at the Discofox marathon with Ballermann hits. After eight long minutes, Lulu and Massimo were the last couple on the dance floor and were able to look forward to ten bonus points and a beer hat.
