After the Easter break, celebrities danced again on “Let’s Dance”. Stefano Zarrella had to say goodbye.

“Let’s Dance” is back from the Easter break. On April 5th, ten celebrities ventured onto the studio floor with their professional dancers, but as usual it was time for a farewell dance. In what is now the fifth edition on RTL and RTL+, Stefano Zarrella (33) had to dance at the end, although the well-rehearsed jury trio of Jorge González (56), Motsi Mabuse (42) and Joachim Llambi (59) didn’t even give him the fewest points for his dance.

Best performance after best performance

As the first candidate of the evening, influencer Ann-Kathrin Bendixen (24) was allowed to float across the dance floor. In keeping with her social media pseudonym “Monkey on Bike”, she and her dance professional Valentin Lusin (37) presented a playful quickstep to the Tones and I hit “Dance Monkey”. Bendixen thought it was great. “You have improved enormously,” praised Mabuse. The personal best performance was rewarded with 16 points.

Things got much more sedate with a slow waltz between presenter Jana Wosnitza (30) and Vadim Garbuzov (36), which earned the dancing couple 29 points – including the highest individual score of ten from chief critic Llambi. Wosnitza wanted her dance to stick in the minds of the audience – and at least with González she managed to do that. Only Mabuse pulled out the nine. The following samba by celebrity dancer Detlef D! Soost (53) and fan favorite Ekaterina Leonova (36), however, were “simply perfect” for the juror. González has never seen such passion from a male candidate on the show during the dance – also 29 points.

The failed lifting figure and the first 30 points

Influencer Sophia Thiel (29) found it difficult to play the role of seductress alongside Alexandru Ionel (29) in her “final opponent” Tango in training. During the show, Llambi was also “a bit disappointed”, while the rest of the jury encouraged the celebrity candidate and was enough for 19 points. There was full physical effort from singer Lulu (32) and Massimo Sinató (43), who even slightly injured his hand during a Charleston. Despite a failed lifting figure, there were 27 points because the jury considered the dance itself to be sensational.

Actors Mark Keller (58) and Kathrin Menzinger (35) showed Frank Sinatra a slow fox, which of course had a difficult time following this top performance. Despite some criticism, Mabuse’s “Gentleman with Swag” scored 23 points. Gabriel Kelly (22) was then allowed to try out a tango to a version of Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters”. Together with dancer Malika Dzumaev (33), the singer presented a captivating performance, which may have made some spectators actually forget the bag of chips on their lap. 30 points, the first of the seasonfor Llambi’s current favorite.

“Absolutely crazy” for Mabuse, what the candidates showed this time. In a powerful temporary, author Biyon Kattilathu (39) and Marta Arndt (34) also presented a significant improvement compared to the last show. Instead of just twelve points, there were 23 points on Friday. Comedian Tony Bauer (28) and Anastasia Stan (26) also scored 23 points with their Viennese waltz. “This is the Tony we want to see,” confirmed Llambi. At the end there was a lively samba from Zarrella and Mariia Maksina (27) at an advanced hour. González noted the increased level: “Today it’s time to fight. You fought. That was good.” The performance was rewarded with at least 19 points.

At the end there was a little surprise for the candidates. There is a partner swap and the celebrities are assigned new professionals. Zarrella but no longer experiences the whole thing. He obviously didn’t fight enough for the audience.
