With these dances, the “Let’s Dance” stars go into the fight for the final round

The finale is just a stone’s throw and three dances away. The fight for a place in the final round of “Let’s Dance” will open on the evening of May 17th at 8:15 p.m. on RTL, moderated as always by Daniel Hartwich, 45, and Victoria Swarovski, 30, and consisting of the jury from Motsi Mabuse, 43, Joachim Llambi, 59, and Jorge González, 56. Two complete individual dances and the improv dance are on the program for the celebrities and their professional dancers. The latter is taken to a new level: This year, according to the broadcaster, the couples are not only doing one dance, which they then have to perform spontaneously, but two dance styles that they have to combine with each other. The individual dances have already been decided for everyone involved.

Detlef D! Soost, 53, and Ekaterina Leonova, 37, chose a slowfox to “Swing Supreme” by Robbie Williams, 50, and a jive to “Livin’ La Vida Loca” by Ricky Martin, 52. Jana Wosnitza, 30, and Vadim Garbuzov, 37, dance a paso doble to “Tamacun” by Rodrigo y Gabriela and a Viennese waltz to “Voilà” by André Rieu, 74, and Emma Kok, 16. For a Charleston to “Do Your Thing” by Basement Jaxx and a slow waltz to “At This Moment” by Michael Bublé, 48, have been trained by Gabriel Kelly, 22, and Malika Dzumaev, 33, by Ann-Kathrin Bendixen, 24, and Valentin Lusin, 37 a paso doble to “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood” by Santa Esmeralda and a slow waltz to “Against All Odds” by Phil Collins, 73. A semi-final that couldn’t be more exciting!

Finally betrayed! Christina and Luca Hänni get a…

Christina, 34, and Luca Hänni, 29, kept it to themselves for a long time. But now there is finally a resolution for their fans. In the latest episode of their podcast “Don’t worry, be Hänni” they reveal the gender of their unborn baby. A hugely important and exciting moment for her. And so it takes two attempts before they announce together: “We’re having a…girl! A daughter.” As they themselves report, most people guessed it was a boy.

Ann-Kathrin Bendixen receives countless hate messages after her advancement

After her original departure, Ann-Kathrin Bendixen, 24, returned to “Let’s Dance” after Tony Bauer, 28, had to throw in the towel for health reasons. In the last broadcast on May 10th, the influencer was unable to convince the jury; Joachim Llambi, 59, found her performance “not worthy of the semi-finals”. The audience still allowed them to advance one round. Now Ann-Kathrin speaks seriously in her Instagram story because there was “a lot of turmoil” after the last show.

The 24-year-old describes that they received an incredible amount of hate messages. Some women even emailed her saying they would boo her during the live broadcast next Friday. Constructive criticism is always welcome, but Ann-Kathrin has no understanding of such news. She also emphasizes: “I didn’t win this thing right now. I’m very sure that in the end the best dancer will hold the trophy in his hand.” She further wonders how “incredibly sad and frustrated so many of us out there actually are” that they write “miles of hate messages.”
