The "Let's Dance" candidates have been chosen. In addition to Jan Hofer and Senna Gammour, Barack Obama's half-sister will also compete.

The "Let's Dance" floor will open on February 26 at 8:15 pm. 14 celebrities are fighting for the title "Dancing Star 2021" in the 14th season of the RTL program. The broadcaster has now announced which candidates will take on the challenge. Also present: the former "Tagesschau" spokesman Jan Hofer (68) and the former Monrose singer Senna Gammour (41). From the musical front, ex- "DSDS" participant Vanessa Neigert (28), singer Ilse DeLange (43) and party hit star Mickie Krause (50, "One week awake") will join them.

Barack Obama's half-sister dances with us

Auma Obama (60) brings a big name into play. She is a sociologist and German studies specialist as well as the older half-sister of the former US President Barack Obama (59). Her athletic competitors include professional boxer Simon Zachenhuber (22) and soccer star Rúrik Gíslason (32). "Formula 1" presenter Kai Ebel (56) is also part of the party.

No "Let's Dance" season without TV stars. This is where actress Valentina Pahde (26), Erol Sander (52, "Soraya") and the first "Prince Charming", Nicolas Puschmann (29), come into play.
